Just perfect for my 2 night stay to attend a wedding in Chipping Campden. Room was gorgeous and warm with underfloor heating and remote control sky light if you needed a bit of air. Beautiful freshly cooked breakfasts in the tea room itself next to the open fire. A huge thank you to Carolyn and all the staff who helped me jump start my car when the battery was flat. I obviously didn’t want to leave!

We have visited the Bantam on numerous occssions, its always a treat. It has a prime setting on the beautiful high street, the rooms are characterful, spotless and comfortable. The owners and staff are warm and welcoming, they help make the stay even more enjoyable. Plus the breakfasts are delicious, and nothing is too much trouble The courtyard is an oasis of calm of an evening, once the tea rooms have closed for the day, a great place to relax with a drink. We’ll be back again!

Lovely tea rooms. Only stayed 1 night food very nice room very clean. Staff very pleasant. I left my sapphire and diamond ring there which was found by the housekeeper and handed in by her. It’s so nice to know that there are still honest people around.

Exceptional in every way. Beautiful home cooked baked goods. Great looking home prepared lunches too. The tea was well presented in lovely matching tea sets. The ambience was infectious and the service was relaxed and efficient. Even the toilets were beautifully appointed for heaven’s sake. Highly recommended, not to be missed.

Popped in for lunch while visiting the area. Really nice homely atmosphere. Great polite staff. Large fire or you can sit outside. We had the soup (tomato chilli and cheese scone) perfect winter warmer.

Lovely little tea rooms, quaint with lovely cream tea and ice cream. Very pretty outdoor courtyard area. Great location on high street of Ch Campden, close to the start of the Cotswolds Way walking trail. Parking available on the streets, Back Ends car park 5 mins walk away or at the nearby secondary school during school holidays.

Lovely old building, and courtyard, clean facilities, friendly staff. Menu, plenty of choice, locally sourced, where possible. Well cooked, presented. Sandwiches were huuuuge! But tasty, left no room for lovely looking cakes so we got treacle tart to go. Just got home and had that, it was delicious, reminded me of my nans. They do rooms too, in the courtyard at the back of the building.

I cannot express my satisfaction. My walking partner and I arrived hours prior to check-in; however, we were warmly welcomed and our bags were taken to our room while we spent some time walking to the neighbouring Broad Campden and back. The accommodations were lovely, spotless and well appointed. The included breakfast choices were great; the full English was sufficient to hold us until high tea later in the afternoon.

My husband and I had a wonderful 4 night stay in the Hen’s Nest. Its recent renovation was done beautifully, respecting the architectural details of the old cottage while discreetly adding 21st century conveniences. We also enjoyed breakfast and lunch in the Tea Room. Fabulous! We’d love to return someday. Many thanks.
